For One Weekend Only! Show, 2007
For one weekend only! show there were handmade and found objects presented at Isabella Percy West (IPW), a college gallery in California. The objects shown were as follows: a painting entitled, LOVE IS NOT A POTATO, 2007, oil on canvas, 56" x 42"; a dress and drawing inserted into an IKEA frame entitled, Art Hag, 2007, mixed media; an 8.5 x 11 laser print out of an interview with David Hammons at Brown Univeristy, 1986, entitled, Untitled, 2007; and four large format posters accompanied by the book they were made for, book titles as follows: The Story of Art by E.H. Gombrich, Phadion Press London, First Published 1950, Eleventh Edition, 1966, Personal Power Through Awareness by Sanaya Roman, H J Kramer Publishers Tiburon, California, 1986, The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm, Harper and Row, 1956, and The Hidden Dimension by Edward T. Hall, Anchor Books, 1969.
