Sharing Information, Video and Found Object Installation, 2006
Upon returning from Konstfack in Sweden, a group show was organized by the International Student Affairs and Programs (ISAP) office to share with the community information about the Gilman Scholarship funded by the International Institute of Education (IIE)in Washington, DC, work made and experiences collected. For the group show, I presented the community marketing materials picked up in Stockholm during the duration of my visit. A partial list of sponsers of the posters, flyers, booklets are as follows: IASPIS-International Artists Studio Program in Sweden, Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall, africa remix at the stockholm modern museum aka moderna museet, patrik soderstam speaks at Beckmans College of Design, among others. In addition, a 3 hour documentary video was presented of a day spent in Boras, Sweden at the Swedish School of Textiles, University College of Boras.
